unamped out of a audigy 4 "Output Voltage @ 2Vrms Stereo Output 113dB" this card can make the hd555 unbearably loud. sometimes my cowon d2, which has a 74 mw output. the d1001 is 135$ and the ah-d2000 is 339$ worth the difference for FLAC/AC3/GAME ??
