this card can make the hd555 unbearably loud.

sometimes my cowon d2, which has a 74 mw output.

the d1001 is 135$ and the ah-d2000 is 339$

worth the difference for FLAC/AC3/GAME ??

i haven't heard either--though i'm very interested in the d2000. the price of the d2000 is much lower when considering a non-authorized seller, an approach some have taken. i'm sure many head-fiers can provide comparisons of the two models for you--and you'll find some such comparisons if you search this site.

ya I'd much rather buy unauthorized, since the warranty is only 1 year.

I would, but nobody has them in stock for a low price, and most everywhere is backordered.

I have to order in canada or into canada aswell.

In canada is much preferred.
