    Got the Blues?

Not sure if this was posted yet, but John is an excellent blues player. Not a fan of his studio stuff (other than his cover of call me the breeze), but his live performances are fantastic.

    Detailed + Forgiving + non-fatiguing?

Detailed + Forgiving + nonfatiguing?    Is this a real combination?   I liked the silky smooth mids and forgiveness of my Re262, but the detail of my HF5.   Unamped or with a JDS Labs c421, what are my options under $200?   Thanks

Best $15 I've ever spent (ELE USB DAC).

Hi there!   This is my first impressions thread ever, so bear with me.   I bought the ELE EL-D01 Usb Dac through Ebay seller kuyaya520.   The actual unit is $15.29, and shipping is free.   http://www.ebay.com/itm/290908894610?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649  ...

Voices sound more left of center on seemingly every track I listen to.

Thank you everyone for your help.   Mono it is centered. I guess most mastering likes to put the vocals slightly left. Eric Clapton's unplugged he is on the right side.   Another thing I noticed is that IEMs don't seal as well in my left ear as my right.

If I put the left earbud in my right ear and vice versa the vocals switch sides.

Voices sound more left of center on seemingly every track I listen to.

Hi there,   Listening to every earphone I've ever listened to, the vocalist always sounds slightly left of center on 90% of tracks I listen to.   This isn't a problem with my hearing as when I switch orientation (left earpiece in my right ear) it sounds slightly right of center.   Is...

    Klipsch S4 >> HiFiMan RE0 >> what next?

Brainwavs B2 or a FA DBA02.   Not sure their price right now but they should fit your needs.   Bass might not be what you want but should be more than the RE0

Ety HF5's sound muddy? + IEM clear and similar to Grados under $200?

A while back I bought Grado RS2is. Love em. Love everything about them, crystal clear and airy.   Anyways,   My HF5s sound muddy now. I don't know if I just got used to my Grados or there is something wrong with them.   I got new filters, got new ear tips but it sounds muddy.  ...

Looking for IEMS similar to HF5 with good guitar crunch <$250

I have Grado headphones and I like that sound because I listen to a lot of Rock and guitar stuff.   Would those be similar?

I'd also like to say I want to be able to wear them without putting the cable over my ear, because I'll be taking them in and out.
