I need a new pair, my HF3's have seen a lot of use and I want something better.

I'd like something with really good guitar crunch, and a little more bass impact would be nice too.

My budget is $200, but I could stretch it to $250 if needed.

thanks.

The Sony EX7550, RE272, RE262, GR07, JVC FX700 offers great clarity and good guitar punch. But if you want similar BA sound like HF3 then ER4P/S, CK10, GR01, DBA-02 are better pick and they all are amazingly detailed.

I would probably say, get over that, because the TDK is worth it. And they still come out/off easily.

I'd also like to say I want to be able to wear them without putting the cable over my ear, because I'll be taking them in and out.

They use the same drivers, tuned differently; and the BA200 is better than both.

I think I might get either the VSONIC GR01 or the Brainwavs B2.

Opinions?

Just want to reiterate the Brainwavz B2, Fischer DBA-02, Rockit R-50, Vsonic GR01, etc. all use the same driver just tuned slightly differently. If you don't like one you likely won't like any.

B2 are a little bright on the top end. I would also
consider R-50.

They're all fairly similar to the lower-end (60, 80, 125) Grado models in sound, yes.

I have Grado headphones and I like that sound because I listen to a lot of Rock and guitar stuff.

Would those be similar?
