Update!   So today I tried on a pair of Grados (SR80's) And they sounded amazing, even just on my iPhone which isn't exactly a world leader on sound quality. Also they were pretty darn comfy on my head. Only thing I didn't like was the build quality but you can't win them all. So...

Excluding, only the Headphones.    The Amp and DAC can come later.

I don't mind suggestions, but they have to be under £200 in the UK.

I needed to import the ATH900X's as the UK mark up is amazingly high. Up and over £300.   I think the Grados are a go.    And yes the kinks are amazing, Well Respected Man is one of the best in my eyes.

They really need a new site.   What would they be like compared to the SR225i's?

We do have Ebay UK but there are no Alessandro MS1i's on it.   There are some nice Grados though....

I have infact been looking but I can't seem to find anything on Head-Fi.   Or maybe I am just looking in the wrong place.

What about vocals? Some of the most important parts in my music taste are the vocals.

I was looking at both. At first the 900X's but then I noted they needed importing and with the UK's dodgy import tax....   So I wanted to know how it compared with my other choice.    (I really want some Grados with wood on them)

How would the Grado Sr225i's compare with the ATH 900X's?

Knowing me I would always in my head think that I should of gotten the SR225i's which will drive me insane.

Is this true? Surely they would be different?

I will do, as much as I love tearing apart expensive stuff.   How is the build quality? I have seem some complaints about them being very plasticy and cheap.   (Sorry for all the questions)
