The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")

So after extended use, I'm back to say the HAMR77Xs are no let down. Almost 2 years later and they're still hitting hard as hell, maybe even harder. To anyone thinking about these (as they are the obvious budget friendly choice), here are some things to keep in mind:   1. Don't buy a ****ty...

NP man. Expert mode might only be available in select versions of the apk file. It unlocks some additional settings, but most of them I never use..

Start with everything unchecked, and make sure youre in Expert mode (menu > UI setting > Expert) If using it with a music player (such as Poweramp) make sure FX compatible mode is turned on (menu > FX Compatible Mode > Compatible). Set it to "Normal" if using streaming services like Pandora...

Okay, so for anyone who has the 77X, do you get a loud clicking noise when you take the headphones off while bass is playing? It sounds like the cone may be hitting something? Is this normal for high end cans when theyre pushed to their limits? My monster Inspirations had some ******* amazing...

JVC HA-MR77X top of the line JVC x series

This. I suspected something like this may be going on considering she terminated the session when I started asking too much and showed that I wasn't jut the average dumb consumer.

JVC HA-MR77X top of the line JVC x series

Well, Ive tried inquiring about the different models, as my pair seems to hit its limit fairly quick using an el cheapo amp from radioshack (as opposed to the monstrous e12 + EQing + those extra bass settings on the high end players) and heres what I got:     Quote: Me   Quote: Jennifer...

Just got my 77xs and they are great. Still not quite at the bass level I want but they'll definitly be good for now. On a side note my cheap auvio amp from RadioShack pumps more bass than they can handle with v4a. Looks like I don't even need the e12 yet (: I can say now that these things are...

For the people asking about bass heavy iems, The Plug by Koss is actually amazing. It goes deep into your ear canal and has amazing isolation and creates an almost perfect seal in your ear. The drivers could hit low notes that sent chills down my spine. I haven't used them recently with my note...

that's the point of this thread :p To find headphones that can thump without distorting. Just ordered a pair of 77xs today because my current cans can't even handle my little cheapo RadioShack amp. For under $100 you might as well get them if nothing else. They're the cheapest model listed in...

I agree 100%. For a company that started the iPhone line with playing music being one of the primary ideas, its sad to know how ****ty it really is. Like even jailbroken iDevices suck pretty hard in terms of audio. If you like viper though I highly suggest you try to get an old Samsung phone...

You have to be rooted as well. I personally install the HiFi version and put the UI on expert so I can use all the settings. Depending on your cans I've found that the subwoofer bass setting is nice with xhifi clarity (db gain is subjective) and purebass+ is beautiful with natural clearity. I...

Thanks for the welcome! Good to know they will get the job done. Are the pads on the 77s the same as the 55s? Do you reccomend any other pads for the 77? Yeah I was kinda disappointed in the UEs, but they were free so I'm not too upset. Cause I need my fix. I'm addicted to bass and can't...

Definitely interested in bass testing some cans. I'm in the Altalnta Georgia area. Im very well connected to the bass music scene (a close friend of mine has direct connections to skrillex) and am currently looking for a pair of headphones exactly as you described actually. I could get a few...
