Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

I'm in. The reviews unanimously said it was better than the S1, so I got in on the Indiego early bird pricing. It was only for three days though, so I'm not sure where someone would buy now... Shipping might not be for a while, but I don't mind waiting.

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Wow, what would I do without this group? Had KZ S1 on order but cancelled when I heard the S2 is coming out. Now in light of the Realtek 8763 I think I'll hold off on the S2 instead of doing the early bird pre-order. Also very interested in the Z1 with 2DD. Thanks!

Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Thanks for the information. I've been considering both the Spunky Beats and the Mpow m5, so I'd be curious to know which sound signature you prefer. I don't need crazy amounts of bass. My preference is clarity, no sibilance or shrillness in the high end, plus good separation and a wide...

    REVIEW: Low-end Grado comparison (SR-60i, 80, MS-1)

    Grado SR80i vs. Alessandro MS-1i

I think I may have misunderstood. To clarify, I was under the impression that okthxbye was saying the MS-1i comes with a 1/4" plug at the end of the cable instead of the 1/8" plug the MS-1 has. And, because the site doesn't explicitly mention an adaptor, he was concerned that a 1/4" to 1/8"...

OK to charge FiiO E5 with iPod charger?

OK to charge FiiO E5 with iPod charger?

The iPod charger cable has a USB connector on one end (which plugs into the power unit) and a line out dock connector on the other end (which plugs into the iPod). I was thinking of using this charger with the supplied E5 cable because it would be MUCH faster than plugging the E5 into a...

OK to charge FiiO E5 with iPod charger?

I assume it's okay, but I'd hate to blow out the small amp with too much power. The iPod charger is probably 450 to 1000 ma; I don' t know the output of a PC or laptop USB port. Can anyone help me? Thanks!

Everyone is so down on the 125is...

Perhaps one reason the 125s get no love is that they're often compared to the MS-1s, which are cheaper and essentially the same 'phone. There might be subtle difference between the two, but many people can probably live with any differences to save about $50. For example, I have the SR-60s...

    REVIEW: Low-end Grado comparison (SR-60i, 80, MS-1)

Thank you for the review. Lots of very good information. I have the old 60s (no i) and have been seriously considering buying the MS-1i. According to the review, there was a significant change from the 60 to the 60i, so maybe it isn't unreasonable to expect a similar change from MS-1 to...

    Once more: MS1 vs. MS1i?

Thank you for the replies, all. Thanks especially to Xan for the detailed explanation about the cups. It's nice to finally have a definitive answer. Personally, I don't think the larger cups look better and they might even weigh slightly more, so if the MS1 i don't have the improved cable I...

    Once more: MS1 vs. MS1i?

There have been lots of people asking about the differences between these two, but no definitive answers that I've seen. (Mostly people point out the slightly larger cups in the i version, which "theoretically should equate to better soundstage," but I haven't seen a head to head comparison from...
