They sound very, very good. Based on IEMs that I've heard/own, I'd comfortably say that the Xuan NV feel like if the Moondrop Aria 2 (or the Kato) had a baby with the Zero Reds with the bass feeling way better/more textured than the squig really shows but otherwise being right there in tonality...

There is not enough time in the world to listen to IEMs.

That Metallica Turntable from Pro-Ject is, without a doubt, one of the most badass audio products I've ever seen (since their Dark Side of the Moon version, what a coincidence)

I actually got them used for about $400. I'm just in danger because they're really good. I definitely get the midbass feel and mids, but they feel satisfactory enough. A bit thin on some tracks but full on others.

I'm in danger.

Considering how much awesome gear Bloom carries, I doubt anyone could go wrong with that much to spend!

Small update on Dusk: Spring Tips are still not my favorite. Final Type E Clear/Reds are good but think the Dunu S&S pair the best cause of the chonky'ness. But while DSP tuning is the smoothest thing ever, Analog is definitely growing on me. Been demoing a new workstation desktop dac/amp...

I've got the Horizon coming (sold the Umi - which I do still think is great for its price and against the other planar competition). My main chain would include a Geshelli Archel 3 Pro which should have good enough power. Understanding is that Horizon is in final stages so it'll be shipped in...

So far, Analog is really good but DSP is just so freaking smooth. It's crazy good so far so going to need to do a lot of listening.

So, I cancelled my Dusk order with AliExpress but picked up from someone on Head-Fi. Initial impressions so far, Analog right now: Damn! This is really freaking nice.

Remind me, next time I'm in your neck of the woods, to bring my JM XTC. It's a closed back but if you're in the market (I'm not getting any commission on this 😂), I had an open back from JM and it was badass.
