Sorry for the noob questions, but: Are we expected to bring our own portable DAC, amp, and a DAP or phone with music on it? Or will every headphone already be paired with everything necessary to demo it? Basically, I'm wondering if I should be bringing anything other than my ticket and vaccine...

Because it's $50 cheaper and the portability could come in handy, should I need it. I also use a laptop as my desktop computer. I guess I'm just a lunatic.

Thank you.     Clearly I was imprecise with my words. I was really just referring to "the cable required to get the thing running". I added "power" mainly to differentiate it from the RCA cables, but yes, I suppose "USB cable" would have been the more technically correct term. But anyway...

Well, they're synonymous, insofar as the USB cable is required to power the device. The USB cable is needed to fire up the goods, so to speak.

The USB version. I presumed it would come with a cord connecting the Modi's USB port (a hexagonal shape) to the standard USB port on my computer.

Quick question: Is the Modi supposed to come with a power cord?   I bought a used one from ebay, and it didn't come with a power cord. I'm not sure if this is how all new ones are sold or if the seller forgot to include the power cord.
