Strange Request - Closed Cans Which Actively Let Ambient Sound IN.

Ok, this is an odd request, but I have a mate who asked me to post this question for him here. He works in a headphone-friendly environment, but he regularly needs to be able to hear people talking to him and various other things such as incoming messages on the computer. He would like a...

    DIY Cable Gallery!!

This may have been asked before - in fact, I'm sure it has. But, I couldn't find anything after searching. I'm planning on making some ICs (mini-to-mini, mini-to-RCA, and RCA-to-RCA) with some wire I have already. I also want to try some with CAT-5. What can I use to shield these ICs since...

Headphone recommendations please (for an electronica[techno, trance] listener)

All I listen to is Drum & Bass and Dubstep on my Beyer dt770/80. All I can say is "Sonic Heaven." They do all electronica just as well. Get them and a portable amp. You'll be set.

Heya everyone. I'm looking for a product which I can use to wirelessly send music from my computer to my stereo system. Nothing fancy. Just sound card -> RF transmitter -> RF receiver -> amp I guess it would be great if the transmitter had a USB DAC instead, but I don't know if...

Heya, I just wanted to pipe in and say that I'm from Colorado. I go to CSU in Fort Collins. I think it would be pretty cool to go to a meet and check out some new setups. Right now, I've really only listened to my DT770/80 ampless. I'd like to see how some headphones can scale differently...
