Does Anyone Have Experience With Future Sonics SofterWear Custom-Fit Sleeves For The Atrio?

I realize this is a thread from the ages but I'm kind of surprised this is basically the only thread about the FS custom ear sleeves! I've been an avid user of the FS IEMs for many years and have always loved the sound signature using their foam sleeves (very comfy too). But, replacing the...

[REVIEW] Future Sonics Spectrum Series: G10 and impressions thread

I was hoping to pick up a set but due to financial restraints, I'll have to be happy with my two pairs of atrio MG7...which I still love to bits. I found tips to play a huge part with FS earphones. The correct type will determine whether the truly magical sound of FS is heard or ruined...

[REVIEW] Future Sonics Spectrum Series: G10 and impressions thread

My extensive experience with the entire FS range (EM3, FS1, MG5, MG5pro and MG7) leads me to feel that in order to experience the full potential of FS IEM's is to use the FS yellow foam tips (I didn't like the black foamies much).   I've used just about every tip out there and nothing opens up...

Future Sonics Atrio MG7 Review and Appreciation thread

The FS1 doesn't have as tight bass and the highs are not very sparkly. The MG5 improves on the bass VS the FS1 but the MG7 is much tighter/textured. The MG7 also has significantly better high end VS the MG5.   If you are looking for a back up to your MG7, get another MG7 as the FS1 and...

Future Sonics Atrio MG7 Review and Appreciation thread

I ended up cutting the memory wires off as they were so annoying. Ended up selling that set anyway but it was much better to use with the plastic sheath cut off.   The MG7's are a huge improvement over the MG5pro driver.

Future Sonics Atrio MG7 Review and Appreciation thread

It's odd that David didn't mention a replacement in our email discussions. Maybe they are going to concentrate on the CIEM market but if they do introduce a new universal, I bet it will be a totally different design form.   In the meantime, having used all the FS IEMs (IE3, FS1, MG5...

Future Sonics Atrio MG7 Review and Appreciation thread

David Gray at FS has confirmed to me the atrio has been discontinued.   If anyone is thinking about trying these, just grab them now or you may miss out totally!

Future Sonics Atrio MG7 Review and Appreciation thread

I auditioned the Monster years ago and remember I didn't like it anywhere near as much as the Atrio.   The Atrio is not V shaped at all. I find it very nicely balanced (not "neutral"), very lively and the timbre is amazingly realistic!!

Looking to get my Boss some new headphones, similar to the iBud shape.

No microphone but the Yuin PK3 are my all time favourite earbuds.

How to repair a busted jack on IEMs?

Thanks, i'll give it a go.   Do you know if there are any threads about this on head-fi? Like a tutorial or something?

How to repair a busted jack on IEMs?

Yeah, the plug. I used to be able to jiggle it around to get it to work but now it doesn't work at all.

How to repair a busted jack on IEMs?

I have a pair of old Future Sonics IEMs which I was using at the gym. The drivers are perfect but the jack is faulty and the IEMs no longer work.   Is there a cheap and easy way to replace the jack in a DIY project for someone like me who is not very good with this sort of stuff?

Future Sonics Atrio MG7 Review and Appreciation thread

Quote: the eargels are my silicon tips of choice with the atrio's. The eargels very closely convey the atrio's sound signature. Not quite as good as the foam tips but if you don't like foamies or don't want the expense, the eargels are your best bet...plus they are the MOST comfortable...

Future Sonics Atrio MG7 Review and Appreciation thread

Quote:   Ive owned all the Future Sonics models (FS1, MG5, MG7) and have used them all at the gym and have never had any problems. The FS1 was used at the gym for two years and it is still working fine.

They are like new. Future Sonics are the most durable IEMs I have ever had. I have had their FS1, MG5 and now the MG7. I have never had a problem with durability with any of their models. The sound is something special, ive never experienced such realism!
