@aive I see from your sig that you're now running Ian FIFO II to the M7:     Are you the same individual that was selling his M7 digital input board on another forum (in order to replace it entirely with Ian FIFO II feeding the M7 dac section)? Curious how this setup is working for you...

Yeah, I posted about the Amanero Ultra M4 a few times in the three a-gd PCM1704 threads. Do you have confirmation from Kingwa that this is indeed the next USB board? Besides the YT video, there's literally no mention of the M4 across the web. BTW, I love that kingwa's products just keep on giving!

The Amanero Combo384 USB input board can easily be swapped for the new USB input board by the user. No soldering required. Several people in this thread ordered the M11 with the original VIA USB32 input board and purchased the Combo384 afterwards. The Combo384 was shipped to them from China and...

From the A-gd page, it seems there are a few things to be excited about - the new USB input board (up to 768KHz), new DSP w/ 2 new NOS modes, and the FIFO data process, which should help with jitter.   I wonder if all these upgrades will be available to current PCM1704 owners.
