Where can you find information on the EF400's OI? It sounds good with my 16ohm dynamics so it can't be that bad.

Well deserved. I prefer these over other closedbacks I've heard(HFM Sundara closed, R10D, Audeze LCD2CB, Beyerdynamic T70, Focal Celestee.) They don't match the dynamics of the Audio-Technica AWAS but that's a $900 headphone that doesn't play well with all music. What HFM topology headphones...

Very interesting, I'd be glad to have a portable cassette player sometime in the future. My thoughts: 1. I'd prefer a simpler device. Playback only is fine. Battery life of 8hrs is good, so we're already doing great. Dolby B & chrome tape support is a minimum. Never know what you'll get buying...
