Burn-in. Real or not?
Quote: I totally agree. Depends on the structure and composition of the components, however I do feel that burn-in for some units can really make them come alive.- localmotion411

Where do you put your cable?
Depends on usage. For straight listening while not moving around a lot, I pull them around my ears and wear the cable in front. For live use, I drape the cable over my back to get it out of the way.- localmotion411

Help me choose a top-tier IEM. Unique Melody, JH Audio, Ultimate ears
I'd go with JH Audio. The 13 if you're looking for more of a reference set or the 16 if you want richer lows. I personally would go with the 16 for the types of music I play and listen to (pop, rock).- localmotion411

IEMs and exercise
I'm currently using a set of Shure EC4's but having the same trouble with the cable making noise as it bounces around. Also, the cables are so heavy they pull the Shures out of my ears. I'm actually happier with the Apple headphones because they are lightweight and stay in my ears...- localmotion411
