I have a set of UE PRMs that I'd like to pass on to a family member. Obviously they'd need to be remade from a new mold. I contacted UE and this is not a service they provide, however I could have sworn I saw a company somewhere that offered this as a service, but I've been unable to locate...

I haven't ordered yet, but I was considering it, so I called JH to see what their lead time was on these. For CF models, they said "we're pretty far behind". For the regular kind, they said "we can do those faster, we're only a few months behind on those". So..... yeah. FYI.

EDIT: I found the gapless setting - it's not under the main settings screen. You have to play a song and then from that screen, press the nut icon in the lower right corner. Then pick the first tab (looks like an equalizer).   I put v2.01 on my AK100 and my albums are still not gapless. Is...

Can anyone provide a link to a description of what "stage 2" is supposed to do or any details about it at all besides that it's a trade secret headphone output mod? :)

Actually, I am quite happy with the iBasso D12 amp, with dummy buffers and the "classical/jazz" opamp from Topflight's opamp kit. It sounds almost exactly the same as my DX100. What subtle differences I can (barely, sometimes) detect are pleasing. Let me know if you want to hear more about how...
