Meze EMPYREAN - the First Isodynamic Hybrid Array Headphone

I'm thinking of pairing my Empys with the new Topping A90D Amp together with the Meze upgrade silver cable (4,4mm). Anyone that is considering the same pairing or got it already? :)

Meze EMPYREAN - the First Isodynamic Hybrid Array Headphone

Has anyone yet tried the new Topping A90 Discrete with the Empys? I am tempted to buy one as I got the Silver Upgrade Cable with 4,4mm but running it through a 4,4mm to 6,35mm adapter from amazon and an unbalanced amp. I feel like there is more potential in these waiting to be heard and using...

Meze EMPYREAN - the First Isodynamic Hybrid Array Headphone

I got mine from a store as a B-Stock (so basically mint condition) included with the upgrade silver cable for just below 2000 €. I believe it was a good deal. I love my pair!

Thanks for the insight :) I'm looking forward to upgrade my stock pair of 13DE7s on my WA6-SE as I upgraded the rectifier tube already. Do you happen to know if your suggested "6SN7" tube would be compatible with my amp?

Thank you mowax! Actually I just tried the "twisting" trick on the tube while its on and I could hear how the buzz noise disperses into the background a little bit more depending on how I twisted it. However it always went back to an audible volume right after 6-7 seconds. I feel like I've...

Thank you guys for all the recommendation on rectifier tubes. Looks like my brand new but annoyingly buzzing stock tube is going to be replaced soon. If I look up the Mullard GZ34 I seem to find 10000 diffrent ones, with diffrent shape, price etc. Could you please link me the one I should look...

Thank you Badas. I may consider it but I may also wait for Mike to reply about my case and perhaps till I got a replacement rectifier tube. Despite I don't think I have the right screw driver for the screws being used here. :/

Thanks for the hint! Im going to test that right now. I did however test it already in a completely diffent room where there is no electronic device at all nearby - simply the amp itself and yet it has the some buzz. I got damping material underneath the amp right now (some sort of foam) which...

Thank you Spyder1 I checked out Dub's thread but I wasn't sure if they were compatible as they are been tested with 1st gen - I guessed. I will look out for a reasonable priced one now! Thanks
