Well I suppose, either the warranty is up, or the UM2 is damaged due to the user? unfortunately if they have estimated a cost to replace them, you would have to go with there standing.

 UM3X is not on par with the westone 4R!!! I tried them out today, and they both are good, but depends on the music we all listen to, overall the Westone 4R is better!!!
