etymotic er2/4 - which aftermarket cables fit
Can all the ER2/3/4 IEMs use the same kind of cable? So that cable would work for ER2 as well?- Jonasklam

Did you find an aftermarket cable? I've heard that you can file down the ends (the plasic) of the etymotic ER-series, and use most cables with a MMCX connector. I might be mistaken though, I do not own a pair (yet) :relaxed:- Jonasklam

That will be around $ 195 for me, which is too much. Then i would rather buy them locally and not risk endning in customs.- Jonasklam

Fair enough, Well i think it's up to the individual how much time they need. So we'll agree on something if someone is willing to go with this. I know it is unlikely, but head-Fi users continue to amaze me with their kindness and besides, if I don't even try it sure never is gonna happen.- Jonasklam

Yes, especially if I don't have to pay the import duties, which i unlikely when it is send as a personal package between to persons. I'm still studying, so saving where i can is important to me. Also, if someone is interested in this but want to try it out before purchase, i'll gladly help...- Jonasklam

I'll pay the shipping charges ofc and you get the chance to test the Fiio...- Jonasklam

ATH-M50 Upgrade
Quote: Thx man, I really appreciate your replies. I'm a bit worried about the fit issues regarding the K550. Also, i have added Sony MDR-1R to my consideration list. They should be extremely comfy and good for electronic genres of music. I'll look more into the a900x too...- Jonasklam
