Can all the ER2/3/4 IEMs use the same kind of cable? So that cable would work for ER2 as well?

Did you find an aftermarket cable? I've heard that you can file down the ends (the plasic) of the etymotic ER-series, and use most cables with a MMCX connector. I might be mistaken though, I do not own a pair (yet) :relaxed:

You could also try the sony M6 is thst what they are called.. its something like that.. they are quite well known, been around for ages

  Yes, especially if I don't have to pay the import duties, which i unlikely when it is send as a personal package between to persons. I'm still studying, so saving where i can is important to me. Also, if someone is interested in this but want to try it out before purchase, i'll gladly help...
