Had an idea so I used what I had  on hand to enjoy my Ma-900's fitment a thousand times more.   Yeah its my over three years old Siberia V2 headset that I sacrificed for a worthy cause.   I know a black headset would have looked nicer but oh well I used what I had when the idea came about...

oh yeah and I forgot to mention turtle beach as of early last year started using that dsp  in several of their headsets and it seems its the new hot thing now at MLG..

Wow they keep cranking out new models fast, so amazing!...Tink better for me to wait until lots of impressions roll in along with a rev2 driver for sure. You live and learn.. Eying the 400i and I hope its a step up from the HE400..

beyerdynamic pads  from the dt770,880,990 should all fit being that they are based on the same cup size.. I tried out my beyer gel pads on the headset and it worked/fit. my he400 pads also fit this headset but in the end the stock pads still sounded the best to me..

reworked the wire again  with some cooper and added more silver to the mix. covered original sleave with some rope cord..  

cool no probs and no hard feelings.. I was just injecting my 2 cents into the mix on how the headset  should be worn for maximum imaging that's all..I did not mean any ill intentions.. Also I would love hear your impresions on the imaging of the MA900 compaired to your Q701    "How it stacks...

  The added copper for the - terminals..   I'm lazy did not completely take apart 1/8 connector so i just slid the copper wire under the sleave of the  1/8 connect.. Now my shrink tubing will not fit over the 1/8 connector.   I will need to take the entire connector apart to add the shrink...

  lol good question.   From what i remember about my still broken set is that it tends to allow you to hear the processing done to the music tracks. Like as in different effects "reverb, compression, delays and so fourth..   Sometimes it sounds good and at others it sounds off when too much...

  ok thanks for the tip i have decided to go with a 80 mm round because it was a cheap buy and it looks as it will do well... I have yet to find the proper aluminum foil sheets that i would need to make my driver traces.. Is there anywhere i could get like 8 1/2 x 11 1/2 sheets with adhesive...

  You should be fine with that setup it does better even with the added tons of low end bass.. It will no doubt  surpass the a40 headset for sound whoring If that is what your after

  PH0..   I have a  Kobalt 10 piece  Precision screwdriver set that contained that number that fit inside the holes to remove the screws
