My parents had a good heart, but washed my clothes that had my Westone w40's in my pocket when I visited. I'm looking for something comparable but wireless. I don't plan to run with them, I have other headphones meant specifically for that. RIP w40s.

I'd rather have the Bose Soundsport over the Westone wireless...

Before you light those torches and sharpen those pitchforks, hear me out. I have the W40. The sound on these are AMAZING. At least when I used the cable. But I kept getting tired of apple's lightning-to-3.5mm adapter failing for whatever reason (went through a few of them. Thankfully, Apple's...

Westone 4r broke. Should I get the w40 or something else for the discounted price?

I was hoping Westone would be able to repair it, because anything comparable is really expensive to buy. I've only had these headphones for a little over 3 years before the treble in the left one decided to crap out. Not far after buying a brand new cable too...   It's out of warranty and out...

An amp to help with punch or up the bass a little with my ipod and Westone 4R?

It's a great combo and I love it with a lot of music, but for music like electronic or hip-hop, I'd love to help get it a little warmer.   I was looking at the FiiO series, as they seem to be more in my price range ( < $200) and they seemed small enough to still be portable, but found out they...

Quote: Mine came in today in the Small Flat Rate Box (if that helps any). And it JUST fit it. So at 1 5/8 inches, likely it wouldn't.

Hey guys. I got the 4R. Surprisingly, maybe surprising for most, the custom tips for my SM3 fit the nozzles for the 4R...probably even better. It's a bit more snug on the nozzles, but it's a secure type of snug, where I know it's not going to slip off at all but not break it.   I can...

Quote: I'll give a quick "I was right/wrong" after I get the W4R but plan on a very detailed write up in a month or 2 afterward because I'll have the custom tips for the W4 afterward and I already have custom tips for the SM3.

Quote: I've heard this title belongs to the SM3, and if what you guys say are true about W4/R with the highs, I'll have to agree. I'll find out soon because I have both the SM3 and the HD650 and in just a few days will have the W4R.

How well is the UM56 Custom Adapter? Their site gives it a rating of 3 stars. This makes me wonder what people's experiences are to it SQ-wise and build quality-wise. I'll also assume the best material is silicone, not vinyl.

Quote: Also, Earphone Solutions offer a 2 year warranty for the Westone 4R, while Sound Earphone only offers 1. Knowing how well my SM3 went, I'm going for the one that offers the 2 year for sure.

Quote: This may be better than the SoundEarphones I just nearly did that was 25% off a $500 giftcard.   Mucho danke.

Just waiting to see where I can get the Westone 4 the cheapest. Having high hopes for Earphone Solutions.
