Had one 3 yrs ago, on the price range it sounds OK, but the manufacturing quality was so-so, hope they are better now. Wouldn't recommand for pair with K1000 though, not enough power to drive it.

A step-down transformer over 100watt in output will do the job, should be easily found on the internet, or you can find some old PS Audio products(such as P300) on eBay if you are looking for a better option.

I have used both Cary SLI-80(40Watts) and CAD300SEI(15Watts). They work perfecly with K1000, only dufference is the volume knob has to turn a little bit more on 300SEI.
