Replacement Headphone Suggestions
Headset arrived this afternoon. Like it so far; comfortable, detachable cable is great (note to self: Get an extension). Lows are definitely more pronounced then the ATH-M50; going to take a bit of getting used to.- gamerk2

A Quick Soundblaster Z Input/Output question
I have a bit of an unusual connectivity situation: I'm primarily a PC gamer who's been using a Creative Soundblaster Z as my primary soundcard. However, I've been using a separate headset when using my Xbox One to game with my friends. More recently however, I've been looking to simplify my...- gamerk2

Replacement Headphone Suggestions
Here's my conundrum: I'm primarily a PC user who's been using the combination of a Creative Sounblaster Z soundcard with a Audio Technica ATH-M50 (not the M50s) headphones for a while. While I like the headphones, I have a few reasons for wanting to upgrade. And frankly, I'm not entirely sure...- gamerk2

Razer Surround (7.1 virtualization software)
In my case, with my Xense + ATH-m50, I'm leaning more towards Razer then DH. DH has always sounded flat to me, and the audio cues between channels subtle at times. Razer Surround is a LOT more aggressive, which is bad for music, but better for games, in my opinion. Need to play more though.- gamerk2

which music file provides the best quality?
In theory, any lossless format should produce the same exact output. So WAV, FLAC, or the other lossless formats should be equal in quality (file size aside). MP3, being lossy, would therefore be expected to be worse, though whether or not you can hear the difference is up for debate.- gamerk2

Looking for a sound card with these features
Well, I can attest that GX is kind of hit or miss on a game by game basis. Remember that ASUS emulates EAX 5 effects through their driver now when GX is enabled. The emulated EAX 5 is nice, but I know some games hate having it set (Mass Effect comes to mind). Can't comment on F.E.A.R personally.- gamerk2
