Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements
It is just a matter of taste; they have different tunings. Obviously the 300 is much bassier, and the only bad thing about this (besides your taste or liking) is that bass gets into lower mids and obscures them a bit, so things like male vocals are recessed. Apart from that it is just what you...- fjf

Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600
You can go to https://squig.link/?share=Sennheiser_IE_300,Sennheiser_IE_900 and you will see the curves of the 300 and 900. You can autoeq the 300 and make it sound like the 900 (or the 600 or 200); export the autoeq data to a txt file and import it with the chrome qudelix app and save it to...- fjf

Yes, but you KNOW which one is the more expensive. Placebo effect, most likely. Get a 200 and try it the other way around. You can still sell the 600.- fjf

None. Go to https://squig.link/?share=Super_22_Target,Sennheiser_IE_600,Sennheiser_IE_200_(D1) then equalize then autoeq and you'll have the equalizer parameters to convert the 200 into a 600, more or less, at least tuning-wise.- fjf

Earbuds Round-Up
I just got the Yincrow X6 and it is too shouty. With a layer of Leukopor tape and the supplied foams it gets a lot better, with more bass and less offending highs. Not bad for the price!. Not an FF5, but close.- fjf

You can retune any headphone or iem with the AutoEq project, just equalizing: https://github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq https://github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq/tree/master/results/oratory1990/harman_in-ear_2019v2/Sennheiser%20IE%20900- fjf

se535 muffled highs
Even the genuine ones have no highs. You have to equalize them: https://github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq/tree/master/results/oratory1990/harman_in-ear_2019v2/Shure%20SE535- fjf

Sennheiser IE300 Review & Measurements
Oh, yes. I use this (the AutoEq project): https://github.com/jaakkopasanen/AutoEq/tree/master/results/crinacle/harman_in-ear_2019v2/Sennheiser IE 300 I raise the lower frequencies a bit (like 3dB in the 31-250Hz range), because I like them a bit warmer than that, not so neutral. They improve...- fjf

You can play with it. I use it with the ie300, to make it less bass-heavy and a bit more harman. Decreasing the V-shaped curve. I bet it sounds a lot more like the ie600 now.- fjf
