Thanks for clearing that up, decided to go with the Magni2/Modi2 stack instead after reading a bit about quality control issues with the Aune

I'm thinking about buying an Aune T1 Mk2 to pair with my X2's...   Anyone know if they're a good match?   The InnerFidelity review mentioned that the X2's might not go well with an "high output impedance tube amp"; does that mean that the X2's and the Aune's won't go well together?

actually, the xcape v1 does come with a hard carry case

I received mine exactly 7 days after it was declared shipped. btw the singpost tracking never changed from "overseas postal admin" through out so it was quite a surprise when they arrived at my front door. not sure how singpost works so this mightve been a one time thing Quote:

Sunrise Sw-Xcape. Similar in sound signature to the RE0 except for even better balance.

Though I don't own a pair myself... the Fischer Audio Silver Bullet has been noted to have good soundstage. Just thought I should mention that

If you are looking into the RE0 I would look into the Sunrise Sw-Xcape as well. It basically does what the RE0 does but with a bit more bass, best of all it fits right into your price range!

Look into the Sunrise Sw-Xcape, there are some available in the UK Amazon store I believe, or some Fischer Audio products: Eternas, Silver Bullets. I hear those are some of the best for around that price range.

Budgen Audio also has FA products on their online store, but they seem to be out of stock often. I know you don't want to deal with GD, but their ebay store has more availability if that's what you're looking for.

Any thoughts?
