Which Monitors Are These? (Depeche Mode)

I know they're customs, I have a pair myself of UE 5 customs myself. But you can narrow down which maker I believe. The way the wire comes out of the headphone and the type of wire. I know they aren't ultimate ears or westones...

Which Monitors Are These? (Depeche Mode)

Hey Everyone,   I was watching a Depeche Mode show on youtube, and noticed they had some interesting in-ears. You can see it at this link at the 16:15 mark:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=44ws4tuGRmg#t=977s   I've seen some other artists using them, but I...

    My First UE 5 Customs

Quote:   Actually yes, these were the 530's. And when I speak about the bass on the 530's, this is me working from my memory of about 4/5 years ago. Here's an image of them with torn wires:

    My First UE 5 Customs

I knew about Ultimate Ears for years and only learned about JH after I received these. I remember the SE535's had a sense of like a sub-bass to it. I would feel the vibrations from the foam tips which I enjoyed. The UE5's sound more even on all levels, as it should be I'm guessing. Problem with...

    My First UE 5 Customs

Haven't been on here in a while. I've been through about 3 different Shures including the SE 535's which had wires that would always break open. After recently noticing how most companies have been adding removable wires, I went and purchased some Westone 4r's. They were good, but I decided then...

    Little help!...Shure & Westone confusion.

Thanks for the replies guys. After seeing the pictures from music 4321, I'm beginning to worry about the Westones now =\. Does a separation in wire like that cause any problems to the audio? I don't feel like sending headphones in every several months.

    Little help!...Shure & Westone confusion.

I never pulled on anything. I believe it was the constant bending over and into the ear that gave way to the cracks on the wire. The IE8 do not seem as promising as the Westone. The wire looks to be the same as the Shure, while the Westones have a spiral on the wire, making it seem stronger. I...

    Little help!...Shure & Westone confusion.

Alright, so my budget is up to $400. I want the best headphones possible. I have gone through Shure's e2c, e3c, e4c, and se530. I was in love with their warranty service and the quality of the audio they produced, especially the e4c and se530. I would generally send them in because of a torn...
