The Official Beyerdynamic T1 Impressions and Discussion Thread
Quote: Yes that's one thing for shure, but on top of that is the lucky combination of musical personality of RPX-35 and warmness of the WA2. Now the T1 has wonderful deep articulated bass and controlled highs, while the middle range is present and perfectly transparent. T1 finally...- DoReMi

The Official Beyerdynamic T1 Impressions and Discussion Thread
After lots of trying and "delusions" these are my findings about powering the T1 by increasing quality order: T1/Icon HDP : no good, too bright and insufficient power. T1/ Icon HDP DAC/ WA2 : way better, plenty of power and control but sometimes depending on quality recordings still...- DoReMi

WA 2 volume knob position with T1
Just curious to find out what everybody else is doing in this respect. I usually tend to position my volume between 9 and 10 depending on the song and recording quality. I understand that a good headphone should sound good at low volume but in my experience I find myself turning the volume up to...- DoReMi

What is the Best Amp / DAC Combination for ~$500?
NuForce Icon HDP it's very hard to beat. It has been driving my cans 'till I got the WA 2 and still use it as a great DAC that it is.- DoReMi

thanks that's exactly what I wanted to hear. Here in Italy there isn't a big market for tube amplifiers, seems like SS is the way to go, so every bit of info I can get is just plenty helpfull. Thanks a lot for this. I'll post shots and impressions as soon as this baby gets home ;-)- DoReMi

Thanks Dubstep I thought so, I was just a bit concerned at the WA 2 not being able to rich some of the Wa 6 Se energy or punch. You have both ampli, ever tried T1 with Wa 6 SE only? What do you think about that. I do like warm sound but I also like a bit of energy.- DoReMi

wallet said " why are you doing this to me?" ..... WA 2 on the way so I can finally join the club. I asked Jack for the tube combo suggested by Macedonian Hero that I always follow lurking here and there due to very little time at my disposal: TS5998 Power Tubes - 115 each CV2492...- DoReMi

Nuforce HDP vs Violectric HPA V200....?
I keep on wondering how a A\B comparison would end up like. Both ampli seem to score quite good opinions. I got my HDP a couple months ago and all I can say is that this thing sounds really good with my T1. But as usual you always look around and after reading the thread about the HPA V200 I...- DoReMi
