MEElectronics Thread!!!
Hi ItsMeHere :) Quote: Mmm, very interesting... I really hope they've done the same kind of good job they did with the A151. Still, I wonder about the price tag... Thanks for the information!- DervishD

MEElectronics Thread!!!
Hi! Quote: I agree, from the photo is difficult to know if they are wide or not. I interpret that they are slim, like the M11+, and that would be perfect! In that case I prefer not to have angled nozzles because that way I can wear them over the ear. If they are NOT slim, then by all...- DervishD

MEElectronics Thread!!!
Hi mbamg! :) I utterly love that shape! Due to the shape of my ear canals, phones with "bullet" shape fit much better, and I think that most people benefit from that kind of shape because it allows deep insertion if needed (like me) but can be used with shallow insertion. Just my...- DervishD

Multi-IEM Review - 352 IEMs compared (Pump Audio Earphones added 04/03/16 p. 1106)
Hi fellow ljokerl :) Quote: With all due respect to commenters, suggesters and all people who encouraged you to keep adding models (and I think I'm amongst them), this thread wouldn't be possible without your altruist effort. Of course, encouragement is important, but it's you who do...- DervishD

Smartphones and SQ
Hi! Smartphones are not my piece of cake, but the Geeksphone ZERO has a Woolfson DAC and to my ears it sounds quite good. Not mine, so I haven't give if much test time, but the sound is more than decent for a DAP if you ask me. Also, not very big, and reasonably cheap for an smartphone...- DervishD

MEElectronics Thread!!!
Quote: I wouldn't say that the CC51 cord is crap, not at all. But, compared with other Meelec models, in my opinion is clearly sub-par. Easy to damage if removing the shirt clip and slightly more microphonic at times than the usual "silvery" Meelec cable (which is, by far, the best cable...- DervishD

Meelec got a new logo
I prefer the new logo. And yes, I'm waiting too for a dual balanced armature from Meeled. If they give the beast the same shape as the Ety MC5 or similar, I'll buy one, that's for sure.- DervishD

IEM Sickness
I'm guilty, too, I suppose. I have too many IEMs, but in my case it all started because I wanted the perfect-but-cheap IEM. I wanted certain sound characteristics, extreme comfort and isolation. Usually I get two of three, which should be more than enough but... you know... I keep on...- DervishD

MEElectronics Thread!!!
Hi all :) I have or have had the following MEE products: M2 (two pairs), M6 (two pairs), M9 (four pairs, I used to give them as a present for friends, they're incredible), M11, M11+, M31, CX21, CC51 and A151. In addition to these, I've been able to test the HT21, too. I've NEVER been...- DervishD

Do the Ety MC5/HF5 lose isolation when using foamies?
ZARIM, ClieOS, thank you for the reply :) I was planning to use homemade foamies, which can be made pretty tight making the inner hole small enough, or maybe Shure olives. As a last resort, SoundMAGIC foamies, which are not very tight when warm but, to date, have provided me with more than...- DervishD

Do the Ety MC5/HF5 lose isolation when using foamies?
Hi all :) Just in case I finally decide to get the Ety MC5 or HF5 if and when I get the money, I have a question for you experts: do they lose much isolation when used with foamies? I'm pretty sure I will have problems in my right ear with the silicone tips unless they can be...- DervishD

Any bad comment about Sennheisser HD-448?
Hi MalVeauX :) First of all, thanks for your reply and my excuses for not having thanked you sooner, I couldn't check the forum until today. I considered the Fisher a time ago, but they were a bit out of my monetary league so I just forgot about them. The Beyers, on the other hand...- DervishD

Any bad comment about Sennheisser HD-448?
Hi all :) I'm an IEM guy who lives mainly in the IEM subforum, so I'm kind of lost regarding full sized cans and in need of help. I'm thinking about buying a pair of Senn HD-448, they costing me about 60EUR/80USD. I've listened to them for a bit in a shop and I like them, so I...- DervishD

My personal impressions on Meelec A151
