AFAIK Foster/Fostex are actually one of the larger manufacturers of headphones. And they do make planars. Please someone correct me if I am wrong.

For the time being, my best headphone is the Bowers & Wilkins P5, which certainly has its merits but may not be the most neutral phone in its price range. Eventually I will buy something which allows me to get closer to the actual sound of a recording. Ultimately I want to have a real high end...
