Update --   So I now have a pretty dope starter rig set up. Those Micca speakers ($100, Amazon), the Polk Audio sub (free for me, $130 on Amazon), and Marantz SR-5200 amp ($75 on Craigslist).   cel. you went to Craigslist and pretty much just found an amp for me and suggested great speakers...

Would the SR-7000 not be worth the extra $40? I'll probably go with your recommendation, since this is a starter rig I probably won't go into researching a million different models like I did with my first pairs of nice headphones.

I'm thinking around $100 or less, could go a bit higher if I was getting a significant increase in quality though.   I live near Denver, so anywhere around that area/Boulder would work. I'll look on Craigslist, if you do as well let me know what you think looks good. Thanks man!

All right guys, so the speakers should be here tomorrow but I have yet to choose and purchase an amplifier.   Any recommendations for this are welcome, I still have to figure out how to tell whether an amp will sufficiently power my speakers. But if you guys have any suggestions that I can use...

I would say so, I thought they were better remasters than most (especially metal) remasters. The packaging is nice as well (especially the redesigned cover for The Sound of Perseverance), but that's not really worth it usually if the mastering is meh. Anyway, I do own all of the Death remasters...

Ha, whoops. I think I was a bit confused as to where in the thread I was when I saw/responded to that post.   What have you listened to of Dev's?
