Wondering the same. I have the 250ohm DT 880s and was looking at upgrading my op amps, but I get lost reading everything. The STX and cans sound great together, so I think(for me) a nice op amp upgrade is all I need.

I'm looking to upgrade my op amps and was wondering if anyone has any good suggestions for use with a pair of DT 880's. I use them for movies, gaming, and music(25>50>25). I admittedly don't know much about op amps, so also maybe a reference so I can get some more info on them.

Just got the STX running.......had an ear'gasm. The bass is a bit shallow, but that's not really a concern with gaming. This headset sounds amazing.

Already picked up the adapters. Something I learned long ago with electronics, make sure you research anything else you may need lol.  

Basically for my needs, I see the PC360's are the best option to keep for now. I may pick up another set of cans for movies/music later down the road. The Essence sound card should be here tomorrow, so can't wait to see what that sounds like.
