I'm having the same issue but have not been able to isolate it.

The sound I'm hearing is a very loud buzzing. Not a hum. If it wasn't very loud I would tolerate it but it's so loud that it hurts my ears to listen for much more then a minute.

Used an outlet tester. Everything checked out. Dont think its the amp. Works fine in the other. At a loss.

May just get in touch with them if all else fails. Im not real smart when it comes to electrical components. Opening it up would serve no purpose for me.

I don't even have one of those on hand. Will have to pick one up and post the results.
