AKG "K267 TIËSTO" - Discussion, Impressions & Review Thread
heya chailee, yeah amazing headphones aren't they. I have the problem that everything sounds good on them ! so if I use them for mixing in my DAW late at night so I don't wake up others with my EDM kick drum, I find it hard to get a good balance of top end. the K267s are just so clean and...- BlackoutHiFI

sounds like a reputable dealer which is good chailee. But for ANY dealer to say they are not seeing problems with the K-267s would be crazy and a downright lie. They ALL know about this problem and have seen a flurry of returns. latest indication is that the new/fixed versions of the k-267s...- BlackoutHiFI

timmy i am very jealous that you scored a pair of K812s. may i ask how much you paid for them at the mega sale? the RRP is so far out of my price range i always disqualified this pair of headphones but maybe on a special day on a special sale when the moon is full and the time is right then...- BlackoutHiFI

UPDATE: i requested from AKG what the serial number is for the "revision" version so i do not purchase the faulty ones...and they were cagey and would not give me a serial number? they just said "if you purchase one of these from one of our authorised on-sellers there will be no issues". i...- BlackoutHiFI

hi Sh3p1, how do you tell the difference between "Rev 1" version that has the crappy plastic and the "Rev 2" version that has new improved plastic hinge? is there a marking on the model number or is it above certain serial manufacturing numbers? is it K267 Mk 2? or any visual indicators...- BlackoutHiFI
