FiiO’s Upgraded Bluetooth Amplifier BTR1K: Qualcomm QCC 3005 BT chip, BT 5.0 and aptX /aptX LL/AAC supported, RGB light, NFC pairing, Type C and USB DAC

Fiio, "May not currently" can be interpreted in several different ways. Are you saying that the BTR3 may not work as a USB dac like the ES100? If that is what you meant, what are the chances that it may work as a USB DAC like the ES100? Is that even one of the target goals of the BTR3, or not...

FiiO’s Upgraded Bluetooth Amplifier BTR1K: Qualcomm QCC 3005 BT chip, BT 5.0 and aptX /aptX LL/AAC supported, RGB light, NFC pairing, Type C and USB DAC

Aptx LL benefits games the most. Some people are lucky and don't have any audio latency issues with their device and their games. But a lot of people do. Video is a hit or miss with everyone. But for those that have not tried aptx, don't knock it until you experience it first hand. I will...

FiiO’s Upgraded Bluetooth Amplifier BTR1K: Qualcomm QCC 3005 BT chip, BT 5.0 and aptX /aptX LL/AAC supported, RGB light, NFC pairing, Type C and USB DAC

So I've heard. Reading posts and customer reviews, it seems like a good percentage of the users never have any cut-off, while another good percentage of users do. I was kinda hoping to be in the "no cutoff" percentage, but that is not the case. Lucky for you though. The behavior on every...

FiiO’s Upgraded Bluetooth Amplifier BTR1K: Qualcomm QCC 3005 BT chip, BT 5.0 and aptX /aptX LL/AAC supported, RGB light, NFC pairing, Type C and USB DAC

I have owned the BTR1 for two weeks now. Probably the best sounding bluetooth adapter that I've ever own (I've own a lot).. but overall very annoying to live with. The SQ on its own makes the BTR1 a joy to listen to. It's just so good! However, here are the issues: - The beep on the volume...

Which Sennheiser 5-series? (too many now)

Sorry, I don't mean to start another "recommendation" thread, but the Sennheiser line is getting too big now. Have own the Sennheiser 595 for 10 years now. Though their good for home use connected to my stereo, they are not good for portable use without an amp. 120 imp doesn't help. So...

Any headphones like Sony MDR-1A, but open type?

So that's my question. Does anyone know of a headphone that is full-size, open back, that have a similar sound to the Sony MDR-1A? Must be open-back, not closed/sealed back. My full size headphones are: this Sony, Sennheiser HD555, Audio-Technica A900. Looking for something that the Sony, but...

    Xears Thread (formerly TD III)

I assumed TD4 since it makes sense with the naming convention... but I wasn't sure because of the steep price jump.

    Xears Thread (formerly TD III)

Are the Xears TD-III v2 still being sold?  I went to xears.com, but I can't find them.  If they are not being made anymore, what replaced them?

IEM comparable to Sennheiser MX-880 earbuds

Quote:   I'm sorry, I know you're trying to help, but I would like to get advise from people who have actually heard the MX880/980 and a similar IEM.  Not just what other people have said or what rating a model may have.  Thank you though.

IEM comparable to Sennheiser MX-880 earbuds

Quote:   Thank you.  However, the MX580 that you are using as your reference sound more like the MX680.  I still own those.  Those two have a completely different sound compared to the MX880. I use to think my MX680 were nice for earbuds, but it is just sad how good the MX880/980 sound...

IEM comparable to Sennheiser MX-880 earbuds

What are some IEMs that are comparable in sound with Sennheiser's MX880 earbuds?   I had listened to some MX980 and MX880 a while back while searching for the best earbuds for me, but decided on the MX880 because the MX980 were too big for me. I purchased the MX880, but ended up returning...
