So that's my question.
Does anyone know of a headphone that is full-size, open back, that have a similar sound to the Sony MDR-1A?
Must be open-back, not closed/sealed back.
My full size headphones are: this Sony, Sennheiser HD555, Audio-Technica A900.
Looking for something that the Sony, but open.
Here in Japan, there is a store called Yodobashi Camera that you can audition any headphone that you want. I spent 3 hrs today trying to find one. The closest (soundwise) was the Onkyo H500BT, but it's a mid-size on-the-ear type headphone and closed.
Any suggestions?
Main usage will be music and gaming.
Source will be Sony smartphone and gaming devices.
