I think this thread should be general for MyST IzoPhones / Ortophones.   Since i own a pair of Izophones 30 for half a year already, i can pretty much argree with everything said by Edgar. Sound is non fatiguing, no peaks or anything, timbres are very lifelike thanks to their speed. Bass...

It was izophones 40 an experimental one, not going to be sold (or so it was said). 20 micron diaphragm for 30s

Actually asked Roman and he said the diaphragm is more similar to Hifiman in 30s (isodynamic model) but with it's on special traits and also there is a plan for orthos too with diaphragm almost twice bigger ~

Sorry, but i was a very random purchaser of these headphones and totally in the dark regarding specs, acted on pure interest for orthos and the fact they russian orthos (I'm Russian). Roman (the MySt director) said the specs will come out when they're up for sale and i haven't seen pictures of...

They added some more bass into 30 and this is the version that's going to be released. I haven't seen any more pictures than these.   I'm not really sure.

As i heard they have a skilled designer and the drivers are made in russia. I've got the warranty actually~ So i guess it's up there.

I spent 450$ for drivers, expect the cost around 700 for the finished product.

So i've got the upcoming MyST izophones 30 (spelled like isophones) wich is up to release in Russia around mid july. I mean the drivers are made already so i got them installed in HE-500 body and the official release is waiting for their own cables and body to be done.   Too bad i can't...
