Yes.   Kingwa emailed me the codes but more significantly he sent me two replacement remotes for the very reasonable cost of just $5 US.  The replacement remotes work OK but have to be aimed directly at the front of the amp to transmit the signal.  (Better than nothing.)

Wow, that might explain why Audio-gd doesn't have the resources to produce a remote control that actually works.  I love my NFB-6 though.

Well the Audio-gd NFB 6 that I have (now discontinued) uses a relay-based stepped attenuator volume control and it certainly is far from being expensive even considering that it's a Chinese product.

What you're saying makes complete sense to me.  I wonder why there seems to be no demand among audiophiles for what is superior technology that's really quite simple and inexpensive to implement.

Clearly there is very little demand for remotely controlled headphone amps.  The few I've been able to find have either way more features than I need and want to pay for or they're exclusively  single-ended and my rig is set up for balanced operation only.   I'm already beginning to accept the...
