SRH840 or ATH-M50 or AH-D1001? It all depends really... Let's look
I had a listen to both the Q40 and SRH840 over the weekend. I decided on the SRH840's. The Q40's pushed very hard against my head, even with 5 minutes listening to them, they started to irritate me very much. The bass was louder than the SRH840's, but not as clear. The Q40's earcups also...- AmB3r

I thought I knew what I wanted....until I came here. HELP! (Gaming)
After roughly a month's worth of research I'm still uncontrollably confused :) After weighing up the pro's and con's of a large number of cans, I think I've decided on the SRH840's. I can get them for $215 in South Africa. The other cans are easily double the price here and those that...- AmB3r

Roland RH-D30
OK, it seems I might be able to get the Denon AH-D2000's imported for roughly the same price as I can buy the others locally. Finding the right pair of cans is really becoming quite the hunt down for me...- AmB3r

Can Asus Xonar Essence STX power AKG K701/702 properly?
From what I've read, the STX can power phones up to 600Ohm. The is a setting where you adjust the AMP to what your headphones require...- AmB3r

Roland RH-D30
Hey guys, I've been searching everywhere online, but I can't find any info about these cans. My previous thread didn't have proper exposure to these cans specifically, hopefully someone will see the title :) Has anyone ever heard these or own a pair that could comment? Any advice...- AmB3r

1st pair of decent cans
I've never seen the HD 580's for sale in South Africa. Another reason I thought closed cans are better, is I tend to disturb my partner at night if the sound is too loud. I can get the HD 595's for R2500, which isn't bad, but the Roland's are a lot more comfortable for cheaper. I can't...- AmB3r

1st pair of decent cans
I have had a look at them as well as the 437's, but the build quality is a little off, I'd rather take the plunge and get a serious set of cans.- AmB3r
