Apple Music is lossless. Quality up to 192kHz/24Bit. Works well on the SE300. The interface renders rather slowly but it’s usuable and sounds amazing.

the last couple of betas have been better for sure. still sluggish but it’s way more bearable now.

To put your mind at ease, you can select between AAC/SBC/AptX/AptXHD and LDAC in the Bluetooth settings. The connection with Apple devices using AAC is stable and there's no perceptible lag (I'm pretty picky with anything that has to do with lag).

Interesting. So they went the other route iFi took with the Go Blu. Can't say I'm thrilled about it, especially when thinking about using the HB1 with my computer and needing to control the volume on the device itself... I guess it's being done for SQ concerns.

Do you mind answering a question? How does the volume control work? Is it separate from the source device or does it control the source system volume as well?

I feel the same, even Apple Music is a tiny bit faster. Hope it can be improved even further.

I would assume Arc is never going to happen, it’s too juicy a differentiation between this and the top model, plus, with how laggy the device is, it’s probably just too slow. I’m very happy to be wrong about this.
