I'm selling my mint bottlehead crack otl amp if anyone is interested, they pair really well with the 650's.

Does the quality of my audio files decrease if im feeding my DAC via a windows 8 tablet? 

So the modi really isn't that bad?

I'm torn between upgrading to a bottlehead from my vali, or getting a bifrost upgrade from my modi. 

So I should just keep the vali, but upgrade to a higher DAC, btw do any of you guys EQ your set up?

So should I spend more on a better DAC than an amp?   Right now my HD 650 is paired with a modi/vali. Is there really big difference between the modi and upper level dacs?

The DYI crack isn't outside my price range, just the building portion since I don't know how to, would end up being outside my budget. Also do you guys EQ your senns with the crack amp?

Question, what is the best amp for the HD 650 other than the bottlehead crack, because that is outside my budget. I currently have a schiits vali+ modi. Is there anything that imitates a crack amp but is cheaper?

My new set up. The Dell Venue Pro 8 as a source using foobar and electriQ, Modi+Vali+Emotiva, IEMS in the back, HD 650+ my new HE-400.   I was alittle upset my HE-400s didn't come in the box, it came in the travelling case, can't complain I guess it's more practical, but still wanted the box...

I find it inconvenience to continously pull out the RCA cable to swap between amps, is there a way I can purchase a splitter that would allow my magni to be connected to both my Emotiva and Vali?
