I wouldn't bother with APS.  I was never able to get a response out of them about my broken Ety cable.  Check out this thread for an additional cable option.  You can buy a different connector (they have P, S, and B) and then use a Westone cable.  I ended up just sending in my ER4S to Etymotic...

Thanks, can you explain what you mean by "newest style"?  When I had the stock cable it had the old blue and red connectors, and it didn't really work for over the ear due to them sticking out pretty far.  Other than the current ones being all black, is there any difference?   Aaron

17 month anniversary today. How all the different versions of the Reference affect my SuperMicro is beyond me. You'd think he would be able to ship other amps while the Reference is in development.

I ordered a Reference changed to a SuperMicro on 8/12/07. My order is 3917xxxx. I emailed Xin last night and got a quick response saying that mine should be shipping soon.
