Selling my base Bottlehead crack because I'm just not attached to it. I bought it as a kit from another user and I finished building it this past October. I stained the wood with danish oil/poly and sprayed the metal with bronze hammer finish paint. The wood came out great but the hammer tone is mostly just flat bronze color. I spent more than a week total building it and I used Kester 63/37 RMA Rosin solder. The unit sounds really nice and the tubes are very stable. I'm quite proud of how it came out. I paused the build process and didn't continue on to the speedball upgrade. I've only had it running maybe 20 hours total, no hum or hiss.
