Whoa. Didn't know you were going Electrostatic. What headphone are you targeting? I bought a STAX SR-007 mki and will probably buy an amp at Canjam Socal. Both of those amps are on my short list. Good luck with your purchase.

I just ordered a STAX SR-X9000 and who knows when it is gonna arrive haha, but I think I can start by doing an amp search in the meantime.

Whoa. You go straight for the top. Then make sure you hear the Eksonic T2. I heard that X9000 with it and it is spectacular. The main thing holding me back is the 6 months wait time.
