    Exactly , this is the only case scenario DSD has a chance , but nobody except studios that are devoted to it master from vinyl , everything Is DDD today.

    I resample most of my songs to 16/44.1 , sounds the same to be honest , I checked using Dr score plugin for foobar2000 and it is indeed the same only ~0.01 difference in the dynamic range

        I have sandisk ultra 128 fat 32 , 4 kib cluster , I know how to update it just shows me version too low , It came on version 1.6 when I got it.

     I tried downgrading from the latest version and 1.6 and the beta 1.44 and still same issue

    How can you downgrade to version 1.4?    To me it says version too old?    I tried the beta version above the version 1.4 and it did work but below it nope.     What can I do?    Thanks

    I honestly don't know , i bought mine and it has problems like audio cutting and the battery was bad , i really don't know.

    just buy any battery that can fit the xduoo and cut the cables of the original battery and attach them in the new battery.

    also the xduoo has a very poor display , one color oled display , while the fiio has a full tft 320x240 display

    I didn't say that in that context , I only referred that the xduoo x3 is bad , also the device itself has issues with heat many people said that in the thread.

    Just buy the fiio x3ii , it is worth the money , the xduoo is **** , I got a defected unit lol.

     you should use cue tools as it is better medieval also encodes the file again so the md5 file changes and cue tools also verifies the files exactly , although there is a big letdown  as it cannot process more than red book standard 44.1khz /16 bit , I always resample as 24  bit and higher than...

    Yea the eq settings are pretty dull , but the player itself is a solid choice , I bought it after having issues with xduoo x3 , I'm mroe than happy as it can even supports usb dac and the sound output in mw is pretty darn good
