VSD3S vs Tenore compare.  He "strongly" prefers Tenore.

Not sure what he is smoking lol!!!! j/k, everybody have their own sound preference.  If you care about full detailed sound with a nice enhanced bass texture, both VSD3S and KC06A leave Tenores (proper reference version, that is) behind.  Just my opinion, YMMV.

Totally agreed with SFwalcer about similarity between Tenore and TE-05 but for me TE-05 are another step over Tenore

TE-05 is a step up above Tenore because of the sound quality or the price

Too bad the TE-05 has almost zero isolation, hence affecting it's overall sound quality, has mild driver flex, and absolutely horrid fit due to the location and size of the cable. The TE-05 has wonderful sound and deep sub bass that's clear, but the fit and isolation issues are what kept it from getting any traction in headfi or the discovery thread. Rightfully so. Hope the next generation is improved upon?

From what I hear, the TE-05 was completely retuned from the reference sig prototype at the show floor. Too bad, cause I was really excited to hear it from all the early buzz

I had the te-05 and thought is this what reference sounds like:disappointed:... It was nice and I had no driver flex but I changed the tips to the fx850 spiral dot tips and they are bass monster in the sub department :triumph:, but I sold them and I noticed the.t-pros alone200 looks to have the same housing, which I pre ordered

Yeah the sound was fantastic, and the sub bass quality was the best I've come across in a dynamic, BUT isolation and fit was a deal breaker. Even you posted that.

T-PEOS has never been that good. I have little hope for the altone200. I've owned both the H-100 and H-200, and both were weak with recessed mids and peaky treble, but we'll see? Not sure I buy reviews from reviewers that always tend to shill IEM's for the same company. That guy who reviewed the altone200 reviews all their IEMs. Hard to stay unbiased IMHO. I definitely think they won't be giant killers ect. But I hope you enjoy them, mochill?!

I'm looking for the Sony XBA H3 to drop in price to about $199, and I'm hopping on that hybrid train. Now there's a hybrid with universal acclaim that I think will sound great.
