Hi, all,

I briefly had the iBasso DX160 and LOVED its sound and user interface and display and all, but found that it was all but unusable with WiFi - it would always quit after a few minutes, even right next to the wireless router, and I could not use hi-res streaming such as Tidal (or I assume Spotify or Qobuz).

I got the Sony WM-507, which always works extremely reliably with streaming, but just does not have the exciting sound of the iBasso... so I continue to look.

Right now, the iBasso DX300 is a strong candidate for me, but I hear and read about things like Hiby (N8, is it?), Cayin, A&K, and the like that are in similar or not-too-much more price range over the DX 300.

What would you recommend that I consider?

I really like my ZX507 for its smooth/warm sound signature. I have the HiBy R5s which has HiBy's more analytical-side of tuning. Haven't tried it - but I'd love to pull the trigger on a Shanling M3x or M6.

I have no troubles whatsoever streaming Tidal with the A&K SE200.
