NEW THREAD STARTED DUE TO CHANGE OF FINAL PRODUCT SPEC/DESIGN.PLEASE GO TO THE NEW THREAD HERE
I'm on board as well! Had a question/idea about the 7 filters on them. Will they be totally the same set or slightly different for the bass and pure models. I propose the Pure come with one bassier filter the bass model doesn't and the Bass model come with one filter for high end the Pure doesn't. To keep those on the fence more interested maybe instead of dismissing either one too quickly
SIX drivers, for only £250, seriously? OMG! Just tell me when the Kickstarter begins and I will be ALL OVER that shiznit! Brooko was telling me to keep my eyes peeled for the announcement of your new TOTL IEM's and that they would be something truly special, but wow, this is even more than I expected. I was going to probably get one of the new Dunu IEM's that are coming out soon, but screw that, I'll just wait for these instead and be content with my Deltas until then
So will there be adjustable filters at all like with your previous IEM's, or will it be totally separate IEM's for a reference vs. a bassy signature and if you want more bass from the "pure" one, you're out of luck? Or what?
Edit: Wait, people in posts on here are talking about SEVEN filters? So there will be interchangable filters? Ummmmmm. . .errrrrrrrrr. . .where are they getting this info from? I don't see any such info in the initial post.
If this phone gets good reviews this will be my end game iem. Really looking forward to this one. Thanks bob
@goodyfresh: Bass response with multi-BA IEM really depends on which drivers are used and how the engineer tunes them. I've heard the whole 1964 EARS and CustomArt lineups, and there were IEM with more organic dynamic type bass and others that had bass with very attack and decay people typically think of with BA drivers. Big strides have been made recently with BA drivers made specifically for providing excellent bass response in IEM. It's really in the hands of the engineer these days...
