You're done! You will need to do this everytime you restart the computer. Now, just enjoy the sound improvements! :) Good night!

In the app you have the abillity to control the sound output from Wimp player....wich is handy for me...and if you use the Filelizer you will have the abillity to enhance the player as well. Otherwise on paper they should perform the same.

I see. Maybe Tidal is designed/optimized for Google Chrome, not windows app.

I am wondering if that's why they pulled their Windows and Mac OS apps.

Probably. You can use Chrome on both windows and Mac. If you go to Tidal's settings, it's specifically stated that Hi-Fi quality (CD quality) streaming is ONLY available in Chrome.

What you are reading is that Chrome is the only browser that can handle lossless hifi. The Windows and Mac players does handle lossless hifi. There will most probably come a Windows/Mac player. It just take more time to develop. In the long run I guess they want to move it all to the Chrome player. Not because of the SQ. It will make their life easier.

Yeah you're correct. But it doesn't mention any other options. I take that to mean other options aren't even a consideration; otherwise they'll mention it.
