all i need is a thin, thin, and thin transport
@ James:
The discussion is a little heated in this thread, about who wants what features, etc., but I hope you are at least reassured by the growing speed of this thread - it does demonstrate that quite a lot of people are eager to see Fiio (or another company!) produce a specialised pocket transport device.
As you know, I was asking for a company to make a transport device, 2 years ago, and, although you and I don't always see eye-to-eye about specific features, I would like to thankyou for finally stepping forwards and taking this niche seriously, for all us audiophiles who desire the flexibility of a single transport capable of operating with many different DAC-Amps. I appreciate your willingness to consider making something (almost) none of your competitors have.

so we have couple decision with you guys, now it is the next question about the screen, as all you can understand, a bigger screen help more in the UI and choose one music from thousands of music, but it also consume more power and also more size.
now we have some options
1, a 2.4inch TFT like our X1/X3 with a wheel (maybe touch control or mechanicel ).
2, a 3.2 inch IPS screen with a wheel.
3, a 3.2 inch touch IPS screen
I guess I'd vote for a touch screen, but only if you keep some buttons (rew/fwd, play/pause, volume). I'd also like to see a vertical orientation like the gen 1 X3. Makes scrolling through a long list easier when you can have more than 3 lines on screen.

The mojos fat enough on its own please do NOT make the transport the same thickness. Height and width would be nice, but not thickness.

And i think width matching is more important than height matching, so height should be the least critical dimension. I just think with all these requrements being asked theres gonna have to be compromises to size, especially with extraneous features like a touch screen. But quite a few people seem to want it.
Of course, you now realize this is asking them to make this thing ideally for use with a product that is competitive with one of fiio's own upcoming products. But i guess if it could stack cleanly with the mojo or q5, then its just a super awesome benefit.
i second this.
of course, if the battery life is 20 hours, we can control the thickness to about 10mm.
