Just curious, what color do you want them in?
White s400s are kinda catchy actually, you could simply get cups from them.

Cups are too small though... I'd either get a reb/black or baby blue/white.

I think vinyl paint is your only real chance of changing the colour without landing up with a dodgy-looking finish. Check the vinyl paints offered by Duplicolor. I've used them successfully with matte plastics before - it kind of binds with the plastic instead of just creating a layer like spray paint does.

Thanks! Do they also have gloss? Would I have to sand it down first?

S600 have carbon nanotubes as well. These drivers with a bit of EQ sound just as good as S500, plus, it's cheaper and a lot more comfortable  as it's over-ears, but then again, S500 have better SQ out of the box. All in all, they are really close to each other.

What about decreasing numbering, it isn't exactly true as S400 is basically castrated S500s.

No, the S600 do not have carbon nanotubes. They sound good with a little EQ, sure.....but they are not as good as the S500.

They do indeed have carbon drivers. But they aren't the nanotubes we all know and love.
