May I know your actual listening experience for the same song when playing with both DX50 & DX90?

Between the, which one sounds wider sound stage with more 3D imaging, better separation & layering, smooth & detail treble (high), great mid and extended faster bass?

Both of the DAC sections sounded similar to me with the DX90 having the more refined DAC but not enough to justify the price difference, but maybe its because I paired them with the Portaphile 627 MICRO which is a seriously good single-ended amp. The DX90 also was slightly too bright for my tastes when compared to the DX50.

Yes, simply because I'm extremely treble-sensitive and the DX90 sabre treble sheen got to me. In every other aspect the DX90 by itself is superior to the DX50.

Hi did someone try the DX50 with headphones like Kef M500, Yamaha MT 220 or Shure 1540?

Tried the M500 paired with the Apex Glacier and DX50. Nothing too special or worth noting, either good or bad; just a solid well-rounded pairing in general.

Thanks for your advice! For the moment the Kef are the ones that I like more (between the ones I tried)

The M500 are a competent pair of cans but they don't isolate all that well and they're very loose on your head.

Will the DX50 improve the overall SQ of sennheiser momentum? If yes, how significant would be the difference. Is it a gud match or would you recommend Dx90? Currenly listening with Ipod Nano touch (mp3) or laptop with flac.

The V-MODA M100 are a great match with the DX50!

On the contrary, I don't like the M100 period due to its terrible comfort and sound that's nothing special. The Yamaha HPH-MT220 would probably fit your criteria of
tight but powerful bass, good mids and treble section

perfectly according to the impressions of other people as I have not personally auditioned them. The M-Audio Q40 with alpha pads and a cable swap is another excellent combination which I personally have and seriously enjoy. They even displace my US$500 VK-1 for electronic genres of music.

That sounds like the touch screen.  Clean it.

It is clean, it literally just STOPS at the halfway mark and it refuses to go further.

Everyone's ears are different. I do like the M100s are they the best in that price maybe for a closed headphone. If you want a great open one in that price I would recommend the hifiman he400. I like my m100s a lot amped with my D42 and eq off, I really think they sound great. I'm not saying what you recommend is better or worse they will have to experiment on there own.
